Shopping Online at Bachmans.com Bachman's Purple Packages and Purple Delivery Trucks When you send an item for local delivery in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Delivery Area, it will most likely arrive in one of our signature purple packages and will be delivered via our well-known purple trucks. Sales Tax Our sales tax is 7.15% in Minneapolis and as a florist, we follow Minnesota State Law, which states: "when a Minnesota florist or nursery sells flowers or other tangible personal property and delivers the item to someone other than the person who made the purchase, the transaction is taxable even if delivery is to a point outside of Minnesota. The transaction is a sale at retail made in this state and thus subject to sales tax." And, as of January 1, 2002, we are now required to charge sales tax on our delivery service, according to a change in the Minnesota State Tax Law. In addition, we follow Minnesota State law on Internet orders, which states "when a Minnesota florist or nursery sells flowers or other tangible personal property and delivers the items to the customer outside the state by common carrier, parcel post, United Sates mail or the florist's own delivery vehicles, the transaction is exempt." Honoring Sales Prices Bachman's will adjust the retail price of a customer's purchase in the following instance: By presenting a valid sales receipt during the sale/promotion for merchandise purchased within seven (7) days prior to the beginning of the sale/promotion, a customer may receive an adjustment between the regular price and the sale/promotional price. We will not make price adjustments for products purchased after the last day of a sale/promotion.
