Metro Blooms Rain Garden Workshop for Congregations and Schools

Metro Blooms, the City of Minneapolis, and Hennepin County are sponsoring a Rain Garden Workshop for Congregations and Schools in Minneapolis. Rain Garden Workshop topics discussed will include: rain garden definition, how they work, case studies on rain garden importance, basics of design, installation, native plants, aesthetics and maintenance concerns on a larger scale property, how to receive City of Minneapolis stormwater credits. Minnesota Daylily Society Annual Fundraiser

Often coined the perfect perennial, the daylily has a remarkably diverse color range (melons to blue-greens)
and a variety of textures. For northern gardeners, daylilies are able to survive with little care in a wide
range of climates and landscapes. Enjoy the best selection of daylilies and roots available and a chance
to learn secrets from experts on-site. The daylilies are sold on a first come basis. So come early.

Minnesota Iris Society Annual Iris Show

Tall bearded, Japanese, Louisiana and border bearded–you’ll see row after row of these elegant blooms on display and can ask the experts any questions you may have when it comes to growing these unique blossoms.

Metro Blooms Rain Garden Workshop

Join Rusty Schmidt, wildlife biologist and landscape ecologist, to learn all about rain gardens from environmental benefits and garden design to native plants and care. North Star Lily Society... Annual Lily Show

Enjoy our showcase of hundreds of cut lily stems in full bloom, including uncommon varieties that will
increasingly make their way into gardens across the state in the future. Learn how to incorporate these
blooms into elegant flower arrangements and get tips from lily enthusiasts and members of the society
on growing these beautiful perennial plants.
