Today, I had one of those mornings, where everything went going wrong. The kids were slow in getting ready, they didn't want to go to daycare, traffic was bad etc. I'm sure you know what those days can be like.
As I was walking down the Nicollet Mall, the smiling guy from your TV commercials came walking around the corner and told me he was "spreading the beautiful" for Bachman's and asked if I wanted some petunias. I reluctantly said yes. He then told me I had to take two and give one to someone else. So, I took two and went on my way. I walked into work and went up to the first person I saw and gave it to them - the smile they gave me and big thanks lifted my spirits. I decided to pass the second one as well. She was so excited to get the pack of flowers that it made my day by making her day.
Thanks Bachman's for being such a day brightener. You have made a new customer today.
I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am for the offer of free potting soil for my planters! Gardening both in the ground and in containers is my favorite hobby; this year I thought containers with flowers would not be an option. I was laid off at the end of April and felt that I would only be able to purchase food-producing plants; that flowers were, this year, a luxury. When I was at your Eden Prairie location a little over a week ago buying my vegetable plants I saw on the bottom of the flyer the information about bringing in three containers for potting soil and I almost started to cry! I decided that if I didn't have to buy the soil it was worth it to spend money on some "therapeutic" flowers! I have been a dedicated customer to Bachman's for many years, from deck furniture to Mike Porwell landscaping to every plant in my yard, but never have I felt so much appreciation as I did this Spring.

Thank you so much for giving our homeschool group, SELAH (Students Educated Lovingly At Home), such a lovely and educational tour. All of us, mothers and children alike, had a fabulous time! My husband surprised me on Valentine's Day with a dozen yellow roses, (my favorite), purchased From Bachman's. I must tell you that four days later they are still as fresh and beautiful as they were on the 14th.
We do all our garden and flower shopping at Bachman's due to the quality of the merchandise. And we would never shop anywhere else.

Carol at your White Bear Avenue Store has helped me over the years and is wonderful. We live in Oklahoma City but my husband is from St. Paul and all of his family is there and he serves on a board there, so he comes up quite often. I come with him twice a year and Bachman's is one of my favorite places to go. We always manage to find quite a lot to bring back to Oklahoma.

I am recently widowed. When I am having a sad day and don't want to go home to an empty house, I head for Bachman's. I treat myself to Patrick's wonderful tea and something to go with it. It is so pleasant to sit there where there are flowers all around me (I love flowers and usually have cut flowers in my home). It is so much better than going to a restaurant and sitting in a corner booth by myself. There is lots of activity around me and it is very calming. After my treat, I check out the flowers, etc.
