Learn the art of creating and arranging from Bachman’s award-winning designers! With a few helpful instructions, you can turn ready-bought bouquets or garden gatherings into something truly artistic for your home. Arrangements and techniques change each month, so there's always something new to learn.

A fun and casual atmosphere with refreshments, classes are great for groups of friends. You'll leave after having a good time with your own completed creation. (Ticket expense covers all of the materials used for your floral creation.)

Class Schedule & Location
Workshops typically take place on the second or third Thursday and Saturday of the month, or as scheduled. Most workshops take place in the design room at our Bachman's on Lyndale location, but some specialty classes are held in the Heritage Room. Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice Design Workshop

There’s no better time of year than October to make pumpkins the focal point of your décor. This beautiful fall arrangement features a pie-sized pumpkin centerpiece atop a ceramic urn. Vines, twigs, bittersweet berries and seeded eucalyptus bring diverse color and texture. The fresh product dries nicely to be enjoyed long into the autumn season. Spruce tops are just the start to fabulous outdoor containers. With some expert direction, learn how to design, plant, and embellish a spruce top container that can be transitioned from fall to holiday using the finest product from Bachman ’s. Gain new design skills, and receive tips for creating a beautiful spruce top container. Choose between making a single or container duo. Material selection is the same for each container. You must have a ticket to attend the class. Ticket expense covers all materials.

Modern Thanksgiving Centerpiece Floral Design Workshop

Traditional autumn colors are presented with a contemporary flare to make up this modern Thanksgiving centerpiece. Cushion mums are grouped inside a geometric container with mosses, mini kalanchoe, grains, and a stunning succulent. Along with your primary centerpiece, you’ll design a coordinating accent arrangement perfect for dressing up an appetizer table. Ticket cost covers all materials used in your floral creations.

Create joy this season with a fresh balsam wreath designed by you! Led by Bachman’s designer Diane Enge, this workshop will teach you how to assemble and unleash your creativity. Customize your wreath however you choose with stylish and colorful accents such as wintery blue leaves, metallic gold bows and berries, or classic Christmas reds and greens. Ticket expense covers all materials needed for your creation. The class atmosphere is relaxed and fun, so bring your friends and enjoy! Ticket cost covers all materials used in your creation.

“Botanical Christmas” Floral Design Workshop

Join us to design a seasonal centerpiece filled with outstanding texture for an exciting display on your holiday dinner table. Pepperberries, holly, and red seeded eucalyptus bring bright pops of color among earthy tones of cedar and loblolly pinecones. The cool blues of juniper and eryngium provide a wintery feel, while genestra adds a snow-white accent and sweet scent to this long-lasting arrangement.Ticket cost covers all materials used in your floral creations.
