Bachman’s Cedar Acres Landscape Center will open April 14 with a new format for the 2012 garden season and beyond. The center will now focus on our wholesale business, including nursery production and an expanded wholesale offering of annuals, perennials and related hardgoods. Cedar Acres Landscape Center will operate from April through November. |

| Retail Customers Welcome While Cedar Acres is primarily focused on the wholesale business, Bachman’s retail customers are welcome to shop a selection of hardscape products including bulk and bagged mulches, retaining wall and patio products and related landscape products. The store will also offer retail customers a broad line of annuals, perennials and tropical plants at special, “farm-direct” pricing. During the peak season of May and early June, the store will also offer a select line of our best-selling trees, shrubs and evergreens at farm-direct prices. Retail customers can also find the full range of product offerings year round at Bachman’s Garden Center in Apple Valley. |
Our Wholesale & Nursery Headquarters Cedar Acres is located at Bachman's Growing Range on Cedar Avenue in Farmington, which has been home to our nursery and greenhouse production since the 1960s. Now with approximately 650 acres, the range produces and supplies high quality nursery and greenhouse products to each of Bachman's Twin Cities retail locations and Bachman’s Landscaping division. The location is also home to our Nursery Wholesale Center, which has been a valuable wholesale supplier of nursery and landscape products for local and regional landscape professionals since 1984. |
| Cedar Acres: History & Future Bachman's opened Cedar Acres Landscape Center in 2005 in the hopes of creating a horticultural destination for retail customers. Despite our best efforts to make this venture successful, it has been unable to attract enough business to sustain this format. We look forward to reulitizing the space to better serve our landscaping, wholesale and retail businesses. |
